Obama’s Visit

This week has been a monumental week for Irish history. We welcomed the 44th American President Barack Obama and his lovely first lady Michelle. The streets of Dublin’s fair city were buzzing on Monday with excitement in anticipation of the President’s speech. In honour of the President’s 12 hour visit to Ireland, a concert was held before his address which included an array of Irish musicians from Westlife, Imelda May, Mundy , The Corona’s and JEDWARD. The President also visited his ancestors’ home in the small town of Moneygall in co. Offaly. The event is something which will be remembered by the Irish people for years to come. His inspirational words “We’re people, the Irish and the Americans, who never stop imagining a brighter future” will resonate in the minds of the Irish people forever.

On Tuesday our very own Lulu appeared on Midday on TV3 discussing the broach Siopa.com designed for President Obama. Go to our GiftsDirect.com Facebook now to check out footage of Lulu on the show. http://on.fb.me/jXunZD
