Learn to Surf with local instructors in our ISA approved school at a choice of two beautiful locations Donegal or Sligo, Ireland.
Experience the great outdoors of Donegal or Sligo and get fit at the same time. The instructor will be in the water with you giving sound advice and tips on improving your surfing skills.

What's Included

The surf lesson includes all equipment and transport to and from your chosen surf spot for a family of 4, two adults and two children, so all you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel. During the winter months we provide boots, gloves and hoods for you comfort. After the surf lesson join us in the Lodge for a hot tea/ coffee and a chat with your new found friends from the surf lesson.

Duration

The water part of each lesson lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, during which your instructor will aim to initially get you standing. Please allow approximately 3 hrs for this experience.

Location

We conduct our surf lessons in Donegal & Sligo on various beaches in the local areas including; Tullan Strand, Bundoran Main Beach, Rossnowlagh, Streedagh, Mullaghmore and Strandhill Ireland.
Directions & Locations

Bundoran, Donegal - Driving into Bundoran
Bundoran was recently bypassed which makes driving so much easier than it used to be. If coming from Sligo you will reach a roundabout on the outskirts of Bundoran. Here you go straight ahead rather than up the by pass. As you travel into town you will see the Allingham hotel on your right. TurfnSurf is located in a row of Picturesque Victorian houses that extends towards the church in the centre of town. Coming off the bypass from Ballyshannon take a right turn at the first roundabout and a left at the second roundabout. Drive straight through town until you are crossing the bridge in the centre of the town and you can see the ocean on your right. Turfnsurf is just after the church on your left.

Strandhill, Sligo
Strandhill is located on the North West Atlantic coast just 8km from Sligo town. The Surfing School are located within Strandhill village ideally situated just 100m from the beachfront and only 2km from Sligo Airport. We are located directly opposite the Bella Vista Restaurant and just 40 meters from the famous Stand Bar.
