What happens on the day

Your flying lesson starts with a pre flight briefing from your instructor before the flight. This will cover safety, and an introduction to some of the controls. 

Once in the plane, your flight starts from the time the engine turns over.   Once in the air, you will be able to take the controls and fly the plane yourself.  Your flight instructor will land the plane.

Following your return to the airport and landing you will be presented with a Certificate of Achievement as a memento of your introductory flight.

90% of the time you will fly the aircraft yourself under the guidance of your instructor. Flying lessons are available Monday to Sunday during Daylight hours & weather permitting. Your lesson takes place in a Cessna 152 aircraft with an experienced commercially trained pilot as your flight instructor.
