A truly fabulous and unusual gift for men or women of any age and also a perfect introduction to flying for those who have always wanted to try flying a helicopter. 1 hr Helicopter Flying Lesson includes Introductory Flight Lesson 30 minute Safety /Introductory briefing followed by 30 minute flight in R22.

Flying-A Hands on Experience

This introductory flight is very much a hands on event, with the student flying the vast majority of the lesson while being supervised by one of our experienced instructors. Climbs, descents, straight and level flight and a simulated engine failure will be demonstrated by the instructor. The student will then fly in to the airfield and the instructor will talk him/her through the approach into the airfield, when the student will have the opportunity to practice hovering.

What's Included

A pre and post-flight briefing will be given in the helicopter. This entails a safety briefing, a walk around the aircraft and a familiarization with the effects of the controls on the helicopter. Any questions the student may have regarding what is going to be done and what was done will be answered to help give a complete experience, which can then be logged as training, if you wish to proceed further.

Additional Info

Friends & family are welcome to watch you from the restaurant at Weston Airport for take off and landing & are allowed to take photographs. Plane flies at up to 2,000 feet
