This Ogham slate is inscribed with the Irish word "Gra" meaning "Love". Ogham, an ancient Irish alphabet is made up of numerous stokes across a vertical line which make up different letters of a word. This "Love" piece would make a great gift idea for a loved one or to someone with a love for Ireland.

Inspired by the natural landscape of the Dingle Peninsula in West Kerry. Handcrafted using the traditional techniques and craftsmanship of our for-fathers. Using all natural materials that can be found in the most beautiful and unchanged part of Ireland.

Ken Bolger a local artist produces the most unique items using the oldest written language of the Celtic world. Ogham writing once only used for sacred rituals was developed as a way for the ordinary Irish to leave their permanent mark on the world. All sizes are approximate as each piece is hand made it will be totally unique.  All products are made from eco friendly materials, 100% upcycled slate.

Available in large (approx 17inches/ 48cm) or small (approx 12inches/30cm).
