The Tandem Skydive is a thrill seekers dream!
You are secured to a tandem master & will drop from the plane from up to 13000 feet. The Freefall lasts for about 30 seconds but the speeds reached during the freefall are up to 120mph. This is such an exhilarating experience guaranteed like none you have experienced before!
On The Day:
Your training will take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Your assigned tandem master, who is qualified to the highest standards will brief you on all phases of your jump and ensure that you get most from the experience while taking every precaution to ensure your safety.
After fifteen fun filled minutes in the plane on the way to an altitude of 10,000ft, sometimes we go up to 13’000ft (higher than any other club in Ireland), safely attached to your professional instructor the door will open and the tandem master will shout “READY, SET, GO”. The wind will start to rush in your ears as you accelerate to ‘terminal velocity’ at around 120mph; experience the thrill of freefall over the most stunning of sceneries on the way to 5,000ft when the tandem master will open the giant canopy.
A soft landing, a smile on your face for days, and an experience that will stay with you for a life time and maybe even have you coming back soon for more.
Show up early on the day of your jump. We operate on a “first to arrive that day, first jumped”. Almost everyone that will jump on the same day with you will have booked this day in advance. So the earlier you show up and get your paperwork done, the sooner you’ll get to jump.
Budget your entire day to jump. We are completely at the mercy of the Irish weather and we will never jump if it is unsafe to do so.
Bring your camera. You cannot bring your camera along with you on your jump, but your friends or family can certainly take photos of you getting geared up, trained and landing!
Eat light. You don’t want to be bloated or stodgy while you’re experiencing the thrill of a lifetime.
The jumps only take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Location: Edenderry, Co Offaly, Ireland.
